Product description

Are you thinking of a tasteful and valuable gift for the newlyweds? This is exactly what the Czech Mint's silver wedding thaler is, which will become the only original in the world thanks to its engraved dedication.

The wedding customs of many nations are associated with coins. You have probably heard that a bride should carry
something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. However, this tradition, which is based on an old English nursery rhyme, has a fifth part that is forgotten - the silver penny that the bride should put in her shoe to bring happiness, wealth and prosperity to her new family. (Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpence in her shoe.) Moreover, the coins - like the main attribute of today's weddings in the form of rings - are round, thus symbolizing infinity.

The art design of the wedding thaler for
2022 was prepared by medal maker Lenka Nebeská, DiS. On the obverse side she placed the inscription SVATEBNÍ TOLAR 2022 (WEDDING THALER 2022) and two pairs of hearts connected by axes, between which a decorative ribbon. The ribbon interwoven with flowers also appears on the reverse side of the thaler, where it defines the space for engraving the text according to your wishes. The medal, which can hold a maximum of 4 lines of text of 15 characters including spaces, can be engraved with the names of the newlyweds and the date of the wedding or a personal dedication.

You can also inscribe a heartfelt dedication on the certificate of authenticity which is included in the
elegant packaging.
