In addition to the constellation that gave them their name, all those born under the sign of Virgo are ruled by another celestial body - the planet Mercury, which the ancient Romans identified with the lightning-fast messenger of the gods. In astrology, this planet symbolizes reason, and therefore rules intelligent and quick-witted people with the ability to solve problems. Virgos under Mercury’s influence crave knowledge like to focus on a single topic, about which they then want to learn absolutely everything.

The silver medal was designed by medalist MgA. Petra Čánská. She dedicated the obverse side of the coin to Virgo, whose body mirrors the corresponding constellation. The composition is complemented by the Czech-Latin inscription PANNA – VIRGO, the corresponding astrological symbol, and a stylized sun. The reverse side, framed by ornamental decoration, is reserved for engraved text, which can take the form of a personal message, a name, a year, or a quote. The only limitation is the length of the text.
