Signs of the Zodiac

The silver medal of the Czech Mint from the gift series with the motifs of the 12 signs of the zodiac will become not only beautiful, but also a valuable talisman for anyone born under the sign of Gemini.

The constellation Gemini is dominated by two bright stars Castor and Pollux, which were named after the inseparable brothers and sons of the ruler of the gods Zeus. One of the brothers, according to an ancient myth, was immortal and after losing his sibling, he no longer wanted to live. So that they could be together forever, their father made them into a celestial constellation. The sign of Gemini is characterized by duality and is associated with everyday life - with all the changeability, volatility and contradictions it brings. Gemini is an intelligent and insightful people who are interested in all happenings, communicate skillfully and navigate very quickly. They want to evolve in all directions, flitting from one topic to another, and therefore have a comprehensive general outlook.

The unusual oval-shaped medal bears a coloured depiction of Gemini on the obverse side. No photographs or computer graphics were used as the basis for the colouring - the medal maker, Asamat Baltaev, DiS., created an original watercolour painting. The relief in the background presents a disc with a dozen signs of the zodiac and the composition is completed by the Latin inscription GEMINI with the corresponding astrological symbol. The star symbols of the individual signs can also be found on the reverse side of the medal, which is common to the entire series.

The medal is placed in an elegant box.
