After the Half-Blood Prince, the seventh Harry Potter film adventure, subtitled Deathly Hallows, has received its silver coin.

Harry Potter is on the run from Lord Voldemort and his minions. There is nowhere safe, no one to turn to and his only support is his loyal friends Ron and Hermione. The Death Eaters have taken over the entire wizarding world, including Hogwarts School and the Ministry of Magic. The only solution to the impasse is to find the key to defeating the immortal Voldemort, who has split his soul in two and hidden the pieces in magical artefacts. However, these Horcruxes can be hidden anywhere and take any form. In his search, Harry learns of other mysterious objects - three powerful Death Relics...

An unusual rectangular coin takes the form of a movie poster. The vivid colours, achieved through colouring technology, show a trio of inseparable friends - Harry, Ron and Hermione - fleeing from their pursuers. A dark forest stands out in silver relief. As the issuer of the coin is the island of Niue, its obverse side bears its attributes - the portrait and name of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of issue 2021 and the nominal value of 2 DOLLARS (NZD). The design of the officially licensed mintage is the work of the New Zealand Mint's art collective.

Each coin is stored in a special box to protect it and set in an acrylic frame to allow it to be displayed.
