Product description
The Batmobile silver coin attracts especially comic book fan´s attention.
The Dark Knight, the masked crusader, the world's greatest detective, Batman. You may know the alter ego of billionaire Bruce Wayne, who, after his parents were murdered as children, swore to protect Gotham City from evil. Disguised as the Batman, he tirelessly battles an endless array of insane villains - the Joker, Penguin, Riddler, Bane - but unlike most superheroes, he does not have supernatural powers. Instead, his crime-fighting is supported by his superior physique and penetrating intellect, as well as cutting-edge technology. The most iconic piece of Batman's equipment is the Batmobile, a super-modern vehicle that doubles as both a battle tank and a racing special.
The Batmobile has undergone a series of transformations since 1939, when it first appeared in the pages of the comics. The reverse side of the coin is dedicated to the model that appeared on the silver screen in 1989. Depicted in vibrant colours, the long, slender turbine car is accompanied by Batman's mask and the iconic bat symbol. The additional relief is highlighted with a patina. The obverse side of the coin then bears the attributes of its issuer, the Pacific island of Niue, which means the name and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of issue 2021 and the nominal value of TWO DOLLARS (NZD). The officially licensed coin is the work of the New Zealand Mint.
The coin's elegant packaging is an integral part of the coin - thanks to the special frame, you can display it in a place of honour in your collection.
