Product description

This set, with a total weight of two troy ounces of pure silver, contains two bullion coins from the Czech Mint – the Czech Lion and the Eagle, both dated 2026.

The Czech Mint has extensive experience in the production of investment coins (so-called bullion coins). The gold and silver “Czech Lion” coins, which have been minted in Jablonec nad Nisou since 2017, have become popular with investors not only in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but also in Hungary, Germany, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, and the United States. The world’s largest online distributor of precious metals has also added them to its product range. One of the reasons why the Czech Mint’s investment coins have so quickly joined the ranks of their famous global counterparts is their low mintage. While investment coins from foreign mints are minted in the millions, the mintage limit for coins minted in the Czech Republic is in the hundreds or thousands. This fact increases the potential for investment appreciation and adds a collectible dimension. Thanks to their artistic design, the coins also make excellent, original, and valuable gifts—for graduations, weddings, the birth of a child, or just for the sheer joy of it… In 2020, the Czech Mint opened a brick-and-mortar branch in Bratislava and, on that occasion, began minting another investment coin called “Orol.” The parameters and advantages of these coins mirror those of the “Czech Lions,” but they differ in the motif used, which is intended primarily for Slovaks.

Czech Lion: The reverse side of the coin is dominated by a walking Czech lion in a realistic depiction, wearing the Crown of St. Wenceslas on its head. The author of the relief is medalist VojtěchDostál, DiS.

Eagle: The reverse side of the coin is dominated by the golden eagle, the lord of the Tatra Mountains, with the majestic mountain peak of Kriváň rising in the background behind it. The relief was created by medalist Mgr. Art. Miroslav Hric, ArtD.

Since the coins of the Czech Mint are issued under license from a foreign issuer, the island of Niue, their obverse sides bear the necessary attributes - the name and portrait of King Charles III, the nominal value of 2 DOLLARS (NZD), and the year of issue 2026.

Invest smartly and in style! Our selection also includes other bullion coins made of silver and gold. This allows you to easily control how much of your funds you invest in precious metals.
