Gold medal with a motif of 500 CZK banknote Božena Němcová standard

The fourth medal in the series “Czech banknotes on Czech medals“ dedicated to noted Czech female writer of the 19th century represents an outstanding piece of creative art. The medal is delivered with an art print portraying Božena Němcová. The medal is another in the range of high quality medals struck in Czech Mint. The design of the medal was created by academic painter Oldřich Kulhánek, author of Czech banknotes and renowned painter and graphic artist. Academic sculptor Vladimír Oppl, author of the Czech twenty-crown coin, created on the basis of Kulhánek’s graphic design a plaster model.
