American bullion Eagle coins.
Gold American Eagle coins were first issued in 1986. Since then gold Eagle coins have risen to the rank of #1 gold bullion coin worldwide. The name of the coin “Eagle“ has been derived from the first gold American coin with a nominal value of 10 dollars which was minted between 1795 and 1933 as official legal tender. The gold Eagle coins resemble the famous “Double Eagle“ twenty-dollar gold coins that were struck from 1907 to 1933. The obverse side features the statue of Liberty walking with flying hair; in her left hand she holds an olive twig, in her right hand a torch. Below on the left we can see the Capitol building and the rising sun whose rays fill the background. The reverse side of the coin shows a flying eagle about to descend to its nest.
