The designer of the gold ducat is the medallist MgA. Petra Čánská. She has dedicated the obverse side of the coin to the Scorpio, whose body mirrors the corresponding constellation. The composition is completed by the Czech-Latin inscription ŠTÍR – SCORPIO, the corresponding astrological symbol and a stylised sun. The reverse side, framed by ornamental decoration, is reserved for engraved text, which may take the form of a personal message, a name, a year or a quotation – there are no limits to your imagination. The only limitation is the length of the text.
