Gold ducat Sign of Zodiac Scorpio proof

For everyone born under the sign of Scorpio, the Czech Mint has produced a unique talisman – a gold ducat featuring the zodiac sign.

Scorpios, in human form, are known for their tenacity. Their behaviour tends towards extremes, and so they are capable of using their strong will for good or for ill. They can be friendly and warm, or taciturn and cold. They take everything incredibly seriously, which, combined with their strong will, can lead to obsession.

The designer of the gold ducat is the medallist MgA. Petra Čánská. She has dedicated the obverse side of the coin to Scorpio, whose body mirrors the corresponding constellation. The composition is completed by the Czech-Latin inscription ŠTÍR – SCORPIO, the corresponding astrological symbol and a stylised sun. The sun can also be found on the reverse side of the coin, where it is surrounded by a dozen constellations and a complete overview of the signs of the zodiac.
