Commemorative coins of the Czech Mint (previously known as SMART COINS) are full-value coins minted by the Czech Mint with a foreign licence - their nominal value is given in the currency of the country. They are issued in strictly limited editions and their authors are renowned domestic artists. Even in times of fluctuations in gold prices on the stock exchange, these gold bullion coins retain their value. They meet all the legal requirements to be exempt from VAT - their price is thus close to the price of investment ingots. However, the commemorative coins of the Czech Mint also have a high artistic and collector's value.
