The oldest runic alphabet contains 24 characters. One of them is the rune Wunjo, whose power is immortalized in one troy ounce of pure silver.

The runes of the ancient Germans could be compared to the alphabet of today, however, these characters were not only used to write heroic sagas or skaldic verses.
