The British currency is still in circulation and it is the oldest and the most respected currency in the world. The Royal Mint issued the complete set of British metal coins in 2019. The set contains a total of eight British circulating coins. One-pound mintage is the most interesting piece that is considered the safest coin of the world thanks to its advanced anti-counterfeiting features. For example, it has a twelve-edged shape, while its edges are indented alternately. The year of the issue with the nominal value are embossed microscopically over the circumference. The coin has a holographic pattern that is readable only from an appropriate angle. There is another unique feature of the collection, which means six coins with a nominal value of 1 to 50 pence. These form a numismatic puzzle when aligned correctly. It is also interesting that fifty pence coin celebrates 50 years of existence in 2019.

The combined reliefs of the reverse sides of six pence coins - 50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 p - reveal a majestic state emblem. The one-pound coin bears an English rose, a Welsh leek, a Scottish thistle, and a Northern Irish clover on the reverse side. These plant motifs grow from one crown and symbolize the four nations of the United Kingdom. The reverse side of the two-pound coin is dominated by the personification of Britannia with a helmet, a shield, and a trident. The obverse sides of all mintages belong to the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. from the profile, the year of the issue 2019 and the abbreviated Latin inscription, which can be translated as "Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith".

All coins were stored in common packaging and issued in polished quality "brilliant". They have never been in circulation which could damage them, and their relief is more detailed compared to classic currency.
