Product description

Are you thinking about a tasteful and valuable gift for newlyweds? This is exactly what the silver wedding thaler of the Czech Mint in the Slovak variant is, which thanks to its engraved dedication will become the only original in the world.

Wedding customs of many nations are associated with coins. You have probably heard that a bride should have something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue on her big day. However, this tradition, which is based on an old English rhyme, has a fifth part that is forgotten - it is the silver penny that the bride is supposed to put in her shoe to bring happiness, wealth and prosperity to her new family (Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpence in her shoe). Moreover, the coins - like the main attribute of today's weddings in the form of rings - are round, thus symbolizing infinity.

The art design of the
silver thaler was prepared by medal maker Lenka Nebeská, DiS. On the obverse side there is the inscription SVADOBNÍ TOLIAR and a pair of hearts, between which a decorative ribbon is intertwined. The ribbon interwoven with flowers also appears on the reverse side of the thaler, where it defines the space for engraving the text according to your wish. The medal, which can hold a maximum of 4 lines of text of 15 characters including spaces, can be engraved with the names of the newlyweds and the date of the wedding or a hearty dedication.

The dedication can also be inscribed on the
certificate of authenticity that is placed in the gift box together with the thaler.
