Product description

Are you thinking about a suitable and valuable gift for newlyweds? Silver wedding thaler of the Czech Mint with the year 2024 is just such a gift, and thanks to its engraved dedication, it will become the only original in the world.

The wedding customs of many nations are associated with coins. You have probably heard that a bride should carry something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue on her big day. However, this tradition, which is based on an old English nursery rhyme, has a fifth part that is forgotten - the silver penny that the bride is to put in her shoe to bring happiness, wealth and prosperity to her new family. (Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpence in her shoe.) The coins are also round, thus symbolize infinity - just like the main attribute of today's weddings in the form of rings…

The art design of the silver thaler was prepared by medal maker Ludmila Kracíková, DiS. She dedicated the obverse side to a wedding car decorated with ribbons, flowers, balloons and cans, whose rumble drives away evil spirits and ensures that the bride and groom are not overlooked. The reverse side is then reserved for engraving text that can take the form of a personal message, the names of the newlyweds, the date of the wedding, ... - there are no limits to the imagination. The only limit is the size of the text.

You can also inscribe a heartfelt dedication on the certificate of authenticity included in the gift packaging. Do not miss other variations of the wedding penny - in our offer for 2024 you will find two different precious metals and variants without engraved dedication.
