The silver medal of the Czech Mint from the gift series with the motifs of the 12 signs of the zodiac will become not only beautiful, but also a valuable talisman for anyone born under the sign of Aries.

The constellation that gave this sign its name represents the winged ram with the legendary golden fleece. The mythical creature is known from several ancient Greek legends - for example, that of Iason and the Argonauts. Like the animal that is their symbol, human Rams have boldness, combativeness and strong will in their blood. However, their temperament can quickly turn impatient or aggressive. In addition to the constellations, Aries is ruled by another celestial object - the planet Mars, which embodies the Roman god of war, but also of fertility. Action and passion are therefore inherent in them, and their innate creative power can easily turn into destructive power.

The medal of unusual oval shape bears a coloured depiction of Aries on the obverse side. No photographs or computer graphics were used as the basis for the colouring - the medal maker Asamat Baltaev, DiS., created an original watercolour painting. The relief in the background presents a disc with a dozen zodiac signs and the composition is supplemented with the Latin inscription ARIES with the corresponding astrological symbol. The star symbols of the individual signs can also be found on the reverse side of the medal, which is common to the entire series.
