Well, Just You Wait!
Soviet grotesque Well, Just You Wait! is undoubtedly a legend. A wolf appears on the first silver coin of the Czech Mint from the five-part miniseries that commemorates the animated heroes and their stories.
The wolf is a rude hooligan who smokes, breaks the law and lays a trap for a cute hare. An exemplary and honest pioneer, however, does nothing about the plots of its pursuer. Wolf's insidious plans often turn against himself, and then an immortal threat follows: "Well, just you wait!" No wonder the animated loser and outsider, despite its negative character, won the audience's sympathy.
The reverse side of the officially licensed coin, which was processed by the medal maker Petr Patka, DiS., presents the wolf with bell-bottoms and a pink shirt. The composition is supplemented with the inscripton JUST YOU WAIT! - WOLF. As the coins of the Czech Mint are licensed by the foreign issuer, the island of Niue, their obverse sides bear the name and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the nominal value of 1 DOLLAR (NZD) and the year of issue 2021.
You can save the complete collection of five coins in a cheerful collector's album, which is an integral part of the wolf coin.
