Silver "coin note" Star Wars VII 2019 - Stormtrooper

The seventh episode of Star Wars, subtitled The Force Awakens, kicked off a new chapter in the adored film saga. Its characters, including a First Order stormtrooper, appear on special coins in the form of silver notes.

The Stormtroopers were the backbone of the Galactic Empire. They formed planetary garrisons, accompanied navies, and were deployed not only in armed conflicts, but also as law enforcement in areas of civil unrest. After the fall of the Empire, the soldiers in white armour became the symbol of the First Order. However, this dictatorship decided to use children instead of clones or conscripts. Years of hard training, brainwashing, and suppression of individuality have made the First Order's Stromtroopers ruthless fighters. 

On the reverse side of the "banknote", which was created by the New Zealand Mint, the stormtrooper is depicted twice - the first portrait (with a detail of the helmet) is coloured and the second (with the blaster) is in the form of an engraving. The insignia of the First Order also appears in relief. The obverse side then bears the necessary attributes of the issuer, which is the island of Niue - i.e. the name and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the nominal value of ONE DOLLAR (NZD) and the year of issue 2019.
