Crystal Coin

The unique silver coin decorated with Czech crystal "Crystal Coin" represents the sign of the Chinese zodiac for the year 2021, which is an ox.

The Eastern Zodiac
, also known as the Chinese Zodiac, contains twelve signs - twelve animals that represent twelve temperaments with both positive and negative traits. Unlike the classic horoscope used in Europe, each of these signs belongs to a whole year, and once all the animals take turns, the twelve-year cycle begins anew… The year 2021 is dedicated to the second animal of the Chinese zodiac – the ox. Why is the ox the second one? Legend tells about the Jade Emperor ruled the heavens and sought someone to guard his palace. Twelve animals applied for the emperor's favor – the rat, ox, tiger, hare, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog and pig. Their position in the palace was to be decided by a great race. The strong ox was a favorite, but he had no idea that a smart rat had settled on his back, jumping down just before the finish line and depriving him of victory.… People born in the sign of ox are faithful, loyal and family-oriented. They value traditions, dislike changes and prefer comfort. They live in peace and quiet, but as soon as someone infuriates them, he or she will face evil…

The reverse side of the coin, which was processed by the medal maker
Petra Brodská, DiS., presents a stylized depiction of the ox supplemented with decorative ornaments and eight crystal stones. Czech-English inscription ROK BUVOLA - YEAR OF THE OX is supplemented with the appropriate Chinese symbol. On the obverse side you will find all twelve animals of the eastern zodiac. Since the coins of the Czech Mint are published with the foreign license of the State of Samoa, their obverse sides bear its national emblem, the name and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of issue 2021 and the nominal value of 2 DOLLARS (WST).

The coin comes in a limited edition of
1000 pieces and is an original gift for many occasions. It is stored in an elegant packaging that you can easily turn into a practical frame.
