The fourth silver coin from the New Zealand Mint cycle, which presents fighters from the Star Wars movie saga, is dedicated to the Praetorian Guard.

Every tyrant has hordes of enemies who want to overthrow him, and the dreaded Sith lords are no exception. Therefore, they are surrounded by devotional servants, who lay down their lives without hesitation to protect them. The supreme leader Snoke, following the example of his famous predecessor - Emperor Palpatine - also built an elite bodyguard unit. This Praetorian Guard counts four pairs of warriors - motionless and silent, with their faces hidden behind an opaque visor, waiting patiently for their master to instruct them to kill. Because the Sith's greatest enemies are the Jedi Knights, who wield the dreaded lightsabers, Praetorian are melee experts. They attack with various exotic blades and are protected from lightsabers by menacing-looking red armor.

The reverse side of a rectangular patina-embellished coin presents a colored half-figure of a praetorian gripping the blade. In a plastic relief in the background, a trio of his species are ascended and the supreme leader Snoke looks down on them from the throne. The issuer of the coin is the Pacific island of Niue, and its obverse side therefore bears its necessary attributes - the portrait and name of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of issue 2020 and the nominal value of TWO DOLLARS (NZD). The form of the officially licensed mintage was processed by the team of the New Zealand Mint.

The coin is stored in a special box that protects it and it is set in an acrylic frame that allows it to be exposed.
