Ounce silver coin with gecko motif is an artistic, technical and spiritual unique.

Geckos are lizards with a remarkable ability to adapt and survive. They have pads on their toes that hold them firmly to the ground. They are able to climb not only vertical walls and tree trunks, but also ceilings and even smooth glass with incredible ease and speed. They can even run on water. In addition to their agile legs and water-repellent skin, their tail helps them to do this. This is very useful - geckos use it to adjust their body orientation as they glide through the air, and when pursued by a predator, they drop their tail as bait to keep their attacker occupied. The tail grows back quite quickly. Not surprisingly, in many cultures, geckos are a symbol of good luck, ingenuity and overcoming obstacles.

The commemorative coin with a gecko motif has an esoteric idea. While the obverse side represents one reality, the reverse side is a reflection of another time and space. The gecko's agile body, which is gold-plated for contrast, transitions between these two dimensions. All this is rendered in high relief. As the coin is issued with a foreign license from the State of Cameroon, it also bears the inscription REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN on the obverse side and the nominal value of 1000 FRANCS CFA (XAF).

The issue limit of the elaborate coin, which is the work of Le Grand Mint, is only 500 pieces.
