Archangels

The fourth archangel to appear on the Czech Mint's silver coin is Uriel.

In our prayers, we can turn directly to God or to His mediators who protect various aspects of our existence.
Archangels belong to the most revered divine beings who listen to human wishes and help those in need. The ways of the Lord are often unpredictable, and when we get lost on them, thanks to these kind and tireless heavenly messengers we can reach our desired destination... Uriel's name comes from the Hebrew אוּרִיאֵל - Ūrīʾēl - or God is light. By light is meant the light of truth and knowledge that the archangel spreads throughout the world so that we can see better the path of life that we walk. Wise Uriel protects people who cannot make up their minds. For those in need, he will provide protection from loneliness and peace of mind.

The reverse side of the coin, which is the work of the medal maker
MgA. Tereza Eisner, presents Uriel in armour with a flaming sword. The archangel protects with the help of this weapon the Garden of Eden from the forces of evil. On the obverse side of the coin there is a temple window complemented with feathers and glowing rays. As the licence to issue commemorative coins of the Czech Mint is granted by the Pacific island of Niue, the obverse side still bears its necessary elements - the name and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the nominal value of 5 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of issue 2022.

The coin with the image of the archangel will serve primarily as a gift - for example, as
a talisman for someone who needs help in a difficult moment. Therefore, you can write a dedication or other message for the recipient on the certificate of authenticity...
