Product description

The set of Slovak circulating coins with the year 2020 commemorates the 20th anniversary of Slovakia's accession to the prestigious OECD organization.

An ambitious operation started in 1948 to restore war-ravaged Europe and to revive all aspects of its economy -
industry, agriculture, infrastructure, international trade. The Eastern block refused assistance for political reasons, but the West experienced an era of prosperity thanks to American intervention. Therefore, the US Secretary of State has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his work on his "Marshall Plan." The Marshall's vision was entrusted to the newly formed OEEC - the Organization for European Economic Cooperation - which was transformed into the OECD global community in 1961. This Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development has set the goal of bringing together the most developed economies on the planet, which operate on the principles of democracy and a market economy, and helping them to grow further. The original 20 founding members gradually accepted other states, and Slovakia became one of them in 2000

The comprehensive set includes all valid
circulating euro coins issued by the National Bank of Slovakia in 2020 and minted by the Slovak Mint Mincovňa Kremnica. These are nominal values of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 c and 1 and 2 €, which are supplemented with a thematic commemorative coin with a nominal value of 2 €.

The set is stored in a
special blister with an overwrap.
