Set of Gold bullion coins Czech Lion 2019 stand - 5oz, 10oz, 1kg

The "Czech Lions", a series of investment coins minted with a foreign licence in the Czech Mint, were issued in 2017 and ranked with great success alongside their famous world counterparts. In a luxurious set with the year of the issue 2019 you will find a trio of gold mintages weighing one kilogram, ten troy ounces and five troy ounces.

The first investment coins minted in the Czech Republic have two authors. The master drawing proposal became the swan song of the Czech medalist school´s classic Jaroslav Bejvl, who left us forever at the age of 75 in 2016. „My father became the partner of the Czech Mint during twenty-three years of cooperation and therefore he was asked to develop a new series of investment coins. It was his last work. He chose symbols of the Czech statehood, which means the Czech lion, the flaming eagle on the shield and the St. Wenceslas crown," recalls Jaroslav Bejvl younger. The ornamental design of the coin was adopted by the young medal maker Asamat Baltaev, DiS, who is one of the most glamorous stars of the Czech National Bank competitions, and he transformed the drawing of Mr. Bejvl into a relief form.
Investment coins weighing more than one troy ounce were modified in 2019. The patriotic composition on the reverse side was modified and supplemented with a linden branch. The obverse side of each coin belongs to the name and the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of the issue 2019, together with nominal values ​​of 250, 500 and 8000 DOLLARS (NZD). These are the attributes of Niue Island, which provides the Czech Mint with a foreign license to issue its own coins.

The set of three gold coins was issued in only 15 pieces. It is stored in a luxurious wooden etui.
