The year 2016 in our country celebrates the 700th anniversary of the birth of the Emperor and King Charles IV. The Czech Mint could not to forget this fundamental jubilee and already started with a celebrations at the beginning of the year - they gradually released four coins from the miniseries titled 700 years of Charles IV., which met with a great acclaim.

In May we remember the spectacular jubilee, and the depictions from this miniseries become a part of the complete set in a heavier weight of individual mintages.

The reverse sides of four quarter ounce gold Smart coins are dedicated to the four different themes connected with a reference to the Father of the Nation:

The obverse of the Smart coins is common to the whole set - it includes the necessary attributes of the of the issuer, the nominal 10 DOLLARS a the year of issue, 2016.
