Run through the woods

On 2 September, the last stop of the Behaj lesmi 2023 sports series took place in the picturesque surroundings of the Štiavnické vrchy mountains. The Czech Mint as one of the official partners could not miss the races. In addition to the enthusiastic cheering and support, we were also involved in awarding the participants.

Runners who participated in all six races of this season received a thematic silver medal from us. The best of the best also received an elegant wooden watch with a gold Czech Lion coin.

We are extremely pleased that we were also able to contribute to a good cause. At the finish line, we ceremoniously handed over a check for € 6,507 to the Mayor of Banská Štiavnica. In addition to the Czech Mint, everyone who purchased the special issue of the Banská Štiavnica gold coin contributed to the fundraising. The sum will be used for the restoration of the historic centre of Banská Štiavnica, which was hit by a devastating fire in March of this year.

The third year of the Slovak part of the Behaj lesmi running series is successfully over and we are already looking forward to the next season.
