Josef Lada

Josef Lada referred to idyllic motifs of simple life, which he knew from his native Hrusice – he painted village scenes, landscapes, and folk customs. However, his illustrations dedicated to the Good Soldier Švejk and various bogeymen and water goblins also became immortal. You can find all of this in a series of commemorative medals.
