When a young Vladimír Štancl, was born into a famous family the Kludský on 14 th July 1960, it was more that the muses will no doubt be generous with this new offspring as well. His way to the forefront of Czech showbusiness was very fast and soon he conquered the audience by his fresh hits, it has, however, under the pseudonym Michal David.The timeless idol was endowed not only with musical talent – he demostrated hissense of beauty also in the field of visual art, when he designed the original gold pendant, which was issued on the occasion of the singer's 55th birthday by The Czech Mint.

Michal David studied at the Prague Conservatory of Music and at the age of 16, he founded a successful jazz quartet called ČTYŘI. At the Prague Music days he received the title of Musician of the year. Later, he began performing with the group Kroky Františka Janečka, where he met with Jana Kratochvílová, for example. His first hit was a song called Nenapovídej, which impressed the jury and the audience of  the festival Intertalent, and within a short time he became the new Czech pop music star. At the age of 20 he released his first solo album and also ebmellished several films, for example, both parts of Discopříběh, Vítr v kapse or Láska v pasáži. Michal David's music is still active and he still writes successful hits for his singing colleagues. He also focuses  on composing popular musicals. During his career he released 16 solo albums.

His concerts are regularly sold out and represents a real treat for all the fans and grupies, due to the Michal David`s immense temperament. Another concert is planned for 19th
