Product description
The Czech Mint introduced the "Czech Lion" investment coins for the first time in 2017. They soon became famous among world-famous counterparts. Satisfied investors from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Canada and the United States of America added them to their portfolios. They have also been requested by the world's largest online precious metal distributor and have acquired a European trademark. In addition to the investment potential, they also attracted by the patriotic relief which had several variations. One of them is an ounce gold coin minted in a remarkable design “reverse proof“.
The Czech Mint issued this type of coin for the first time in 2018. As the name "reverse proof" suggests, it is the opposite of quality "proof". The surface of such coins is opaque and bears a protruding relief with a mirror shine.
The reverse side of the coin bears a two-tailed lion, the St Wenceslas crown, the flaming St Wenceslas eagle on the shield and the linden branches. Circular composition bears the inscription THE CZECH REPUBLIC together with coin specifications. The obverse side presents the portrait and the name of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of the issue 2019 and the nominal value of 50 DOLLARS (NZD), which means the attributes of the island of Niue, which provides the Czech Mint with a foreign license to mint its own coins. The coin relief was made by Asamat Baltaev, DiS., who was inspired by the original drawing created by Jaroslav Bejvl.
Each coin is stored in a protective capsule to prevent undesirable external influences.
