Well, Just You Wait!
An episode entitled In the Amusement Park became the motif of the Czech Mint's fourth gold coin from a five-part miniseries, which is inspired by the immortal Soviet grotesque Well, Just You Wait!
The adventures of the unlucky wolf and the cute hare number a total of 23 grotesques, including a pilot film and various projects that arose after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The creators did not name the original episodes of the series - they just numbered them, so today film distributors distinguish them according to the environment in which they take place. The hare loves entertainment, culture and sports, and among the places where he is chased by a villainous wolf, there is also a beach, a house for a young technician, an Olympic stadium or an amusement park. It was the amusement park that became the scene of the second episode from 1969. The wolf behaves like a hooligan here again, but at the same time he shows the audience that he is an expert dancer and musician.
On the reverse side of the officially licensed coin, which is the work of medal maker Petr Patka, DiS., you will find a hare with balloons and a drum, which is followed by a wolf with a guitar with a graceful dance step. The composition is supplemented with a Ferris wheel and the text V LUNAPARKU (In the Amusement Park). Since the coins of the Czech Mint are licensed by the foreign issuer, the island of Niue, the obverse side bears the name and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the nominal value of 5 DOLLAR (NZD) and the year of issue 2021.
Remember that the first coin with the wolf included a cheerful collector's album, where you can store a complete collection of five coins.
