Well, Just You Wait!
An episode entitled At the stadium became the motif of the Czech Mint's third gold coin from the five-part miniseries, which is inspired by the immortal Soviet grotesque Well, Just You Wait!
The grotesque about the unlucky wolf chasing a cute hare was not successful at first. The original screenplay was rejected a total of seven times by the study of the animated film Soyuzfilm. The directors feared that an evil villain who smoked and abducted children in a stroller could adversely affect the moral education of young people. But one of them - Vyacheslav Kotenochkin - was not intimidated by the impending clash with Soviet censorship and did well. Viewers and critics liked the short animated film called " Well, Just You Wait!" that the creators decided to make it a series. Each of the sixteen episodes of the original Soviet series takes place in a different setting, but each is made for a crazy chase. The fourth episode takes place at sports stadium, where the wolf encounters a number of athletes and their equipment…
The reverse side of the officially licensed coin, which is the work of medal maker Petr Patka, DiS., presents a frightened hare who is running away from a wolf dressed in a sports leotard on a running track. The composition is supplemented with the text NA STADIONU (ON THE STADIUM). As the coins of the Czech Mint are licensed by the foreign issuer, the island of Niue, the obverse side bears the name and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the nominal value of 5 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of issue 2021.
Remember that the first coin with the wolf included a special collector's album, where you can store a complete collection of five coins.
