Ferdy the Ant
Miss Ladybird has already appeared with Ferdy the Ant on the gold coin from the collector's miniseries issued by the Czech Mint. She got her own coin, because she is vain.
Ondřej Sekora has introduced the individual inhabitants of the insect microcosm that represent the archetypes of human personalities. Ferdy is a helpful and practical handyman, however, he loses his mind and becomes an obedient slave when he meets beautiful women with long legs, high-heels, blonde hair, a fashionable beret, and a pointed nose (which the Ladybird never forgets to powder). It would be nice if the Ladybird did not miss the ant's affection, but she is a prototype of a superficial, ungrateful and calculating gold digger, who does not hesitate to abandon her suitor once she gets what she wants. However, Ondřej Sekora decided to improve her character in other stories where she tries to be good and even helps Ferdy several times.
The reverse side of the medal maker Irena Hradecká, DiS., is dominated by the cheerful Ladybird, who tries to cover her smile with her palm. The obverse side then bears the necessary attributes of the island of Niue, which provides the Czech Mint with a license to coin its own commemorative coins. The attributes are the name and the profile of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of the issue 2019 and the nominal value of 5 DOLLARS (NZD).
Remember that the Ladybird´s coin has its place in the collector´s album that is part of Ferdy's gold coin.
