The set of coins with Disney animated heroes continues to grow. A silver coin embossed in retro style was dedicated to Minnie Mouse.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse met in 1928 when they starred in two short animated Walt Disney movies entitled Crazy Airplane and Willie Steamboat. Since then, Mickey has been trying to win Minnie's affection - amazing her with heroic deeds and spectacular gestures and repeatedly rescuing her from difficulty. Although the mouse lady officially named as Minerva often behaves as unapproachable, but in fact, she has a weakness for Mickey Mouse. When creating Minnie, Disney was inspired by liberal American girls who rejected social conventions in the 1920s, they wore bold clothes and hairstyles, listened to jazz, were more relaxed morals, and they were not dependent on men…

Minnie is presented with a flirty smile, a fancy hat, polka-dot dress, and high heels on the reverse side of the coin. The obverse side bears the portrait and the name of Elizabeth II, the nominal value of TWO DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of the issue 2019, which means the attributes of the coin issuer, which is the Pacific island of Niue. The officially licensed mintage was made by the New Zealand´s Mint.

The coin is stored in a luxurious wooden box with an illustrated cover.
